Reporting office under the Whistleblower Protection Act

Reporting office under the Whistleblower Protection Act

On June 2, 2023, the law for better protection of whistleblowers (Whistleblower Protection Act) was announced. Whistleblowers make an important contribution to uncovering and punishing grievances. However, there have been repeated cases in the past in which they have been disadvantaged as a result of reporting or disclosing grievances.

The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) is designed to prevent these disadvantages and to provide legal certainty to whistleblowers. This protects whistleblowers from reprisals under employment and labor law, such as unjustified transfer, dismissal or denial of a promotion.

It is ensured that the reporting office

  • maintains the confidentiality of the whistleblower and
  • only the persons responsible for receiving and processing the reports have access to the incoming reports.

The Academy of Health has set up an internal reporting office as of April 11, 2024, which can be reached by post, telephone and email. The board of directors has commissioned the following people to manage the reporting office:

  • Herr Robert Hindenburg
  • Ms. Katja Heide.

All incoming information will be treated with absolute confidentiality and carefully examined.

Reports can be submitted personally or anonymously as follows:

  • Personally by appointment with Mr Hindenburg or Ms Heide
  • By phone Monday: 12:00 to 15:00 via: 030 94030617
  • In writing by post (internal reporting office HinSchG, Campus Berlin Buch)
  • By email via: MeldestelleHinSchG@gesundheit-akademie.de
